NDL 2018 – Handcross Qualify Again for Final
Sunday 30th September 2018
Congratulations to our NDL team which has for the second year in succession earned their place in the NDL finals. (See Summary of Results at 31st August, below.)
Following our final 2 matches of the season, I am pleased to report that Handcross ended up with 8 wins and 2 near misses meaning we were the winners of Group B. We achieved 95match points with a score difference of 306 points.
The winners of Group A were Oxshott Hotshots who only had 8 games to play and equally had 2 losses with a score difference of 133.
Hence Handcross are to play in the finals against Oxshott Hotshots on Sunday 30th September at Cranleigh starting at 11.30.
The team for the final will be Bill Mackrell, David Leech, Maria Cocozzi, Gerard Poirier, Nigel Sibbring and Mike Greenaway. Good luck to the team and a big thankyou to all others who have played for NDL this season.
