Handcross Home to Adur Impulse 25^th June 2019

Triples A saw a new grouping of Jane and Nigel Sibbring playing with Maria Cocozza against Jeff Hobbs, Wendy Thompson and Dougie Ford. The game started tentatively with Handcross successfully taking the game 13:10.

Triples B also had an untried team of Mike Greenaway, Tony Capon and Bill Mackrell against Mike and Sue King and David Fleck, Handcross gelled quickly and secured a 13:6 victory.

Needing one win from the doubles for the match victory inevitably paired our most experienced partnership. Doubles C resulted in Nigel and Jane securing a speedy 13:3 victory over David and Jeff.

Double D paired Mike and Maria against Dougie and Jeff, the opening exchanges were close with Handcross finally proving too strong to secure a 13:8 victory.

Double E matched Tony and Bill against Mike and Sue, a couple of good ends resulted in a 13:6 victory for Handcross.

Owing to a late-night refreshment were some lovely cakes supplied by Jane. The 5-0 match score earned Handcross the bonus point.
