Handcross Charity Open
A glorious day greeted the visiting teams who were entered to play in this year's Charity Doubles. This year, the Club is raising funds for Shooting Star CHASE a hospice for children with terminal illnesses.
Teams were randomly picked to play a snake system instead of the intended leagues as 18 instead of the usual 24 teams had entered. Nevertheless play was fierce and competitive as the sun grew stronger throughout the day.
Each team played 5 games during the day and the final result was as follows:-

Despite the lower than usual entry, a sum of over £300 was raised for the Hospice which the Club will make up to £350.
