NDL: FINAL REPORT FOR 2024

NDL have enjoyed 8 matches throughout this season. All have been played competitively, but also with a friendly touch. We've been pleased to have Alex, Stefan and Wallis in the squad and their comments have been positive especially on the social front. This league is much about encouraging people to play on other terrains against different people.

Unfortunately, we only won half of the matches this year, leaving us in third position out of 5. However, our points difference was excellent showing that many of our games were very close. It seems that we don't quite finish off with wins especially once the 50 minutes are up! Our league was won by Oxshott Hotshots with Bordon Spartans 2nd. These 2 teams will play off against winners of the other league to get an overall winner.

Finally, as I have informed the squad, I will not be leading them next year but, hopefully, there will be someone prepared to take it on once next season's plans are finalised. It can be frustrating at times but, mostly good to get to know other players. Thanks to all for their support.

If you are thinking about gaining more experience, do consider this league. The different leagues and our club's way forward is due to be discussed at the AGM in October.
