NDL – June Update
June was a month of mixed fortunes for NDL.
We played at home to Cranleigh on 4th with an amazing result of 8\1 to Handcross. The pairings were Sue and Sean, Mike G and Gerard and John and myself. All games were well fought but on this occasion Handcross had the upper hand.
Things were not quite as easy on 24th when we visited Oxshott to play the Hotshots. Again most of the matches were relatively close but on this occasion we lost 6\3.
Each of the pairs won just one game, strangely enough beating different Hotshot teams. Thanks to Mike G and Mike Stan for driving. The other pairs were Sue and Bill and Tony C with myself. Special thanks to Bill for stepping in when we were one player short. One of these days we will beat the Hotshots!
Just one match next month away to Bordon.
