Our formal club sessions will recommence on Wednesday 1st December following the end of the second lockdown and the introduction of a new tiered structure, when Cub sessions will be as follows:-
Wednesdays and Sundays: 10am; and Fridays 2.30pm
All play will resume in accordance with current COVID-19 Restrictions and within PE’s latest Play Safe Guidelines which fully apply once again in terms of recommended practices and measures to ensure that everybody’s safety is maximised. It is recommended that members refamiliarise themselves with those Guidelines before formal play starts.
Just a reminder that the Club’s COVID Risk Assessment is available in the green box for access by all members. It is important, on arrival at the piste and before play, that you sign in on the relevant sheet for the date on which you are playing and familiarise yourself with the Risk Assessment. Before you play, you should also sign the appropriate sheet for the day on which you are playing to ensure that track and trace procedures can take place if necessary. This will also be available in the green box.
For your own safety and the safety of others:-
Current social distancing guidelines MUST be observed AT ALL TIMES,
Remember: HANDS, FACE, SPACE
preferably use your own sanitiser
(additional sanitiser available in the green box if necessary)
use your own equipment: boules, coche, tape etc
maximum 5 games to be played at any one time

We hope you will all enjoy a safe return to play and that a transition towards normality will soon begin once the COVID vaccination process is underway.
Handcross Petanque welcomes all visitors on a ‘try it and see’ basis. Just come along on one of the above dates for a friendly welcome. Boules supplied as required.
