Charity Doubles

Spanish Team Oscar and David Win Charity Doubles 2016

A damp and soggy day and an overcast sky greeted the players arriving at the Handcross piste for the annual Charity Doubles competition, this year raising funds for MacMillan Cancer Nurses.

Hilary Kidd organised teams into various leagues for the morning session before David Leech, Handcross Chairman, opened the competition which began as light rain fell. Following enthusiastic and competitive play during the morning session, teams were organised into the Gold, Silver and Bronze competitions and the afternoon session began.

Spanish team of David Cruz and Oscar Miriam were finally declared the overall winners of the competition, the final results of which are as follows:-
